1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to the Rofane Academy public website and learning platform. By using the website or creating an Academy account, you agree to use the services lawfully and in accordance with these terms and any course- or organisation-specific conditions communicated to you.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, protecting your account credentials, and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised. You must not share credentials or use another person’s account without authorisation.
3. Academy services
Rofane Academy provides learning content, assessments, progress tracking, certificates and related services as configured for each course or programme. Course availability, duration, assessment rules, instructor access, delivery format and certificate requirements may differ between offerings.
4. Course information and outcomes
Course descriptions, outcomes, schedules and examples are provided to explain the intended learning experience. They do not guarantee employment, promotion, professional registration, a particular examination result or a specific business outcome unless expressly agreed in writing.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the platform to upload unlawful or harmful material, interfere with security or availability, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or reverse engineer protected functionality, impersonate another person, manipulate assessments, or misuse other learners’ information.
6. Intellectual property
Course materials, text, graphics, videos, assessments, branding and platform materials may be protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual-property rights. Access to a course is a limited right to use the learning materials for the authorised learning purpose; it does not transfer ownership or grant a right to redistribute materials.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Academy available and useful, but maintenance, updates, third-party services, connectivity, security incidents or technical faults may occasionally interrupt access. We may improve or change features, content and technical requirements where reasonably necessary.
8. Third-party services and links
Courses or the platform may link to external websites, videos, tools, payment providers or collaboration services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and availability may be outside our control.
9. Privacy and data handling
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Notice and Security & Data Handling overview.
10. Responsibility and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Academy is provided on the basis of the applicable course, programme and contractual arrangements. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the Academy, law, technology or business processes change. The current version published on this page will state its effective and last-updated date.
